July is a fantastic time to get the community buzzing with fun events! With the sun shining, kids out of school, and a laid-back summer vibe, it's the perfect opportunity to bring people together for some good times. It is also a great time for folks to enjoy their summer “toys”. There are many ways to engage with those in your community and neighborhood. Consider these ideas:

· Dog Days of Summer Event: Celebrate the height of summer with events focused on pets, including dog-friendly activities, pet parades (or parks), and adoption drives. Consider a themed photo booth with props for pet owners to take fun pictures with their dogs. With “goodie” bags for pets that can include collapsible pet bowl, waste bag dispenser, paw wipes, and doggie bag treats along with information about pet medical insurance.

· Summer Nights - Outdoor Movies or Music Events: Consider collaborating with your local community or church or setting up a screen in your parking lot or nearby park for a movie night featuring family-friendly films. Or, consider collaborating with your local chamber or small business to sponsor an outdoor music series. Have fun by bringing Jake to watch or sing along. Consider providing popcorn in personalized popcorn bags and personalized water bottles. Encourage attendees to bring blankets or lawn chairs – or consider the outdoor blanket tote as special Spin the Wheel prize. Other options include personalized beach ball, twist ‘n chill fans, and branded koozies.

· Independence Day Celebrations: Consider sponsoring or participating in an event or parade to celebrate America’s birthday in your community. Consider giveaways such as personalized patriotic koozies, patriotic sunglasses, hand fans, patriotic personalized mousepads, and personalized water bottles. · Safe Boating/Summer “Toys” Event: Consider collaborating with a marina, boat/outdoor store, or powersports shop to talk boat and water safety as well as the need for insurance. Bring your branded tent and table along with branded giveaways, such as koozies, lip balm/sunscreen combo, Antibacterial Wipes Packet, waterproof pouch, first aid kit, sunglasses, Inflatable Beach Ball - 24 in. or open boat tote bag.

· Summer Toys Event – Motorcycles: Consider collaborating with a local motorcycle shop, such as a local Harley Davidson dealer, or motorcycle club and ask if you can have a presence at their next rally or show. (or consider hosting one yourself). Bring out the State Farm tent and set up a table and bring along some branded giveaways, such as: Tips For Sharing the Road Magnet, Bandana, Motorcycle Stress Reliever, Picture Frame w/ Business Card Magnet - Motorcycle, Carabiner Key Chain, or The Hipster Deluxe Fanny Pack. For a nicer giveaway, consider Jake's Vertical Satchel as a “Spin the Wheel” item.

Don’t forget about Farmer’s Markets, County Fairs, or Golf Scrambles – these are always “fan” favorites.
